How to reach the meeting place

Milan has three airports:  Malpensa (MPX), Linate (LIN) and Orio al Serio (BGY, also called Bergamo).

Malpensa is the main one, but Linate is much closer than Malpensa. So, if you have the choice, select Linate. From there you can take a bus or a taxi and be at our place in 30 minutes or less. Taxi would cost approximately 12-15 Euros. The bus would cost from 1.5 to 5 Euros, depending on the service you use.

From Malpensa taxi would cost 90 Euros. The best option is to take the train either to Milano Cadorna or to Milano Centrale. From the train stop then you have to take the underground to Lambrate. Overall you have to count for 1 hour and 30 minutes door to door.

From Orio al Serio, you can take a shuttle bus. If you are lucky and the shuttle leaves immediately, you could take less than from Malpensa. Connections though are a bit less reliable as the bus goes on the highway that might be busy during rush hours. The advantage of Orio al Serio is that it is an airport for low cost flights. You may want to take a look to see if you find some option convenient for you.

Hotels nearby (of course, you can find many other options on the web. Any hotel close to central station could be ok as you can come here using the underground (green line, stop Lambrate)

Here you find a map from the Lambrate station to the meeting place (Via Golgi 40)
